Researchers are invited to submit proposals for papers addressing the following main themes:
1. typology of royal acts: administration; economic management; justice;
2. practical management of the chancery: chancery personnel and their relationship with its head(s);
3. workflow in the chanceries: gray writings; dispatch; registers;
4. organization of documents and archives: the preservation of memory in the royal chanceries;
5. relations/influences between chanceries: imported and exported models;
6. chanceries as centers of power: perceptions of the affirmation of sovereign authority through the chanceries.

Proposals may be presented in English, French, Spanish, or Italian and must be submitted by April 20, 2026, to royalchanceriesrevisited@gmail.com and should include:
=> Author’s name, position, and institutional affiliation,
=> Abstract of the proposed paper of no more than 2,500 characters (including spaces).
=> Brief CV of no more than 750 characters (including spaces).
